SPRING IS HERE AT INDIAN LAKE!
Its finally starting to look like Spring again at Indian Lake. Snow is gone and the lake is nearly thawed out. With all the precipitation the area has received the lake level is at an all time high. Soon lake residents will begin Spring clean up getting ready for another fun summer on Indian Lake! Don't forget the water toys they need seasonal maintenance checks as well as a good wash and wax.
PWC tip of the week: If you're still running a two-stroke ski its a very good idea to run 50/50 gas/oil mix in the tank even after break-in. This will not only ensure proper lubrication should your oil injector fail but will help prolong engine life.
Happy Spring!

Warmer temperatures and rain have stopped Old Man Winter from hanging around Indian Lake this year. At this rate the snowmobile season may come down to a single week or worse yet weekend. Continued mild weather in the forecast suggesting little if any change in the near future. With less than eight weeks of winter left there's still time left to squeeze in some winter fun!
For those that enjoy winter sports Southwest, MI has 500+ miles of beautifully groomed trails with trail reports available HERE.
This report covers the area from M-140 Marathon Gas Station Parking/Trail Head Staging north towards Dewey’s Bar and Grill, Coloma, Hartford, Millburg and northeast to Keeler (Keeler’s Keg). All the Trails heading south out of the M-140 Marathon Gas Station towards Indian Lake, Niles, Edwardsburg, etc., will be covered in this Trail Report unless otherwise stated.
First ride of the season was captured on video and can be viewed HERE. This snowmobiler was riding the trails around and along Magician Lake.
Think snow!
